Mimi, founder and head stylist of Mimi's Touch Salon, seated in the salon.

For more than 30 years, Mimi has dedicated her career to helping people feel confident through healthy, beautiful hair. Her journey in the beauty industry has allowed her to work in a variety of professional settings, including behind the scenes in production and makeup artistry, giving her a unique perspective on beauty, precision, and attention to detail.

Throughout her career, Mimi has remained committed to continuous education and refining her craft. She believes that beautiful hair should never come at the expense of its health. Every service is approached with care, using thoughtfully selected products and techniques that prioritize the integrity and long-term health of each client's hair.

At Mimi's Touch Salon, every appointment is more than just a service — it's a personalized experience built on trust, professionalism, and genuine care. Meet Duneya

As the Salon Coordinator, Duneya is dedicated to ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless experience from the moment they contact the salon until the moment they leave.

She oversees the daily operations behind the scenes, coordinating appointments, managing client communication, and helping ensure that every aspect of the salon runs efficiently. Her attention to detail, organization, and commitment to exceptional customer service allow the team to focus on delivering the highest level of care to every guest.

Duneya also works closely on the salon's growth and development, coordinating projects, managing vendor relationships, overseeing administrative operations, and continuously improving the client experience. Whether assisting guests, supporting the team, or organizing day-to-day operations, her goal is to create a welcoming, professional, and stress-free environment where every client feels appreciated.

The Craft

Every service begins with a reading.

Nothing here is recommended before it is understood. Condition, texture, need — the hair is read first, and the service is composed from what it tells us. It is the unhurried part of the visit, and the part everything else depends on.

Mimi has spent more than thirty years behind the chair and works beside artists she chose herself. Some appointments are one pair of hands, some are two. The standard does not change.

The House

Known by name.

The salon is small by intention. Guests are known by name, their history reviewed before they arrive, their preferences remembered — some have been coming since the doors opened in 2007.

A Client Concierge Specialist attends each visit from the first telephone call to the booking of the next, so nothing needs explaining twice. Mimi’s Touch is kept by appointment only: every hour in the house belongs entirely to the guest who holds it.

The Makeup

Make Up For Ever.

Makeup at the house is Make Up For Ever — the professional line founded in Paris in 1984 by Dany Sanz, an artist who could not find pigments strong enough for the work she wanted to do. It has been an artist’s brand ever since, and it is what sits on the table here.

Shades are matched in daylight rather than under a lamp, and the face is built to last the length of the day it was made for — an afternoon in the Gables, or a wedding.

I. The Reservation
It begins with a conversation, not a booking screen. Your Client Concierge Specialist takes the call, listens — the occasion, the hour that suits you, the artist you prefer — and sets the appointment around your day, not the other way around.
II. The Welcome
You are met at the door by name. Your Concierge has prepared for your arrival — your history reviewed, your preferences remembered — so nothing needs explaining twice. From the first hello, the visit is already underway.
III. The Chair
Your Concierge walks you to the chair and stays close, coordinating each service so one flows quietly into the next. Color, cut, nails, finishing — the timing is theirs to manage. Yours is simply to sit back.
IV. The Return
Before you reach for your keys, your next rendezvous is already in the book. Your Concierge notes what was done, what comes next, and when — so the standing appointment stands. You never have to remember; the house remembers for you.

Organic manicure & pedicure, gel & nail artistry — finished only in plant-based polish. Meticulous natural nail care with nothing conventional in the bottle, down to the topcoat.
Makeup
Day looks, bridal artistry, brow shaping & gentle waxing. Organic pigments composed so your own features lead, with brow work and waxing kept deliberately gentle.
